A lush and moody intimate wedding for Isabel & Lachlan at The Old Clare Hotel - a boutique, timeless venue steeped in old world charm.
Our lovely couple Isable & Lachlan hired us as their Sydney wedding florist for their fine art-inspired wedding. They wanted to combine their love for the Dutch Masters with the look and feel of the C.U.B Suite at The Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale Sydney, a unique wedding venue built within two iconic heritage buildings. The couple held an intimate wedding amongst close family and friends featuring dark and luscious foliage complemented by bright berry tones.
As we also provided on the day wedding coordination and we had the pleasure of working closely with Michael from Litrato who captured the day beautifully. The couple was married by celebrant Meggan Brummer, hair and makeup was done by Anna Poshe and Stringspace set the mood for the ceremony with gorgeous live music.
Isabel & Lachlan had a traditional tea ceremony in the morning where we created a simple trailing greenery backdrop on the C.U.B Suite mantlepiece. The reception featured lush floral wedding floral centrepieces in gold bowls, black taper candlesticks, and the table setting was tied together with burgundy fabric draping. The wonderful Stacy Brewer provided the cake which we also decorated.
Flowers for the day included roses, dahlias, amaranthus, tulips with smokebush foliage and after dark textures. A special thank you to Isabel for leaving this epic review for us and our Sydney wedding florist team on Facebook too!
The team at Lime Tree Bower is amazing. I loved working with Nerija, Sammy, and Helen throughout my wedding planning process and I knew I could just leave my vision of the wedding and day-of coordination to them. I didn't want to have to worry about anything. I supplied my vision board during the planning stage and Nerija came back with great ideas on how we can bring it to life.
Due to Covid I had to do everything online and I couldn't meet the team (as well as checking out the venue) until a month or two before my wedding date! Our wedding party (incl. my husband and I) was really impressed with Helen's coordination on the day. I have to say, no one had to lift a finger - which meant we could all focus on the organised chaos of the day
The flowers, decor, and coordination was all beautifully done - I could not be happier. I got so many compliments - from everyone at the wedding to others who saw our photos. I would love to work with the LTB team again, whether it be anniversary celebration, birthdays or parties in the years to come - already planning in my mind!
