We find that most of our couples planning an intimate and small wedding reach out 2-3 months prior to their wedding date.

Feel free to get in touch when you're ready - this could be earlier or later than the aforementioned time period. Ideally, we would recommend booking your florist at least a month ahead of your wedding date.

Yes, definitely!

If you're having a super micro wedding and literally only need one or two simple items, that is totally fine. We do not have a minimum spend for intimate weddings.

Multiple variables come into play that goes into our detailed planning schedule for each wedding week. Depending on the season and weather, the types of flowers being used, how much time is available at the venue to set up, and the style of arrangements, we could be sourcing and design your flowers from a few days to the day prior to your wedding day.

We expertly select flowers that we know will be at its perfect peak on your wedding day, depending on how long it takes for particular flowers to open up and be at its prime, and weather considerations.

We typically work mostly with fresh flowers. From time to time, we may use some silk or preserved and dried flowers, depending on the context and purpose behind it. From a pure cost perspective, quality silk flowers that look actually real are much more expensive than fresh flowers.

Most definitely. With our expertise, we can knowledgeably share and recommend what will and won't make an impact for your small wedding or elopement.

Usually a bouquet or similar, plus something decorative for the ceremony is most cost effective, particularly if it can be repurposed afterwards!

With any creative trade, in the same way getting a haircut changes between salons, floral design pricing differs due to several variables that combine to form the price: the designer's experience and how much they value their work in terms of labour rates, their design style and assumptions of volume/size in scope, and profit markup.

Pricing also differs from ready made gift bouquets in retail florist shops due to the level of customisation and higher quality of floral selection and care involved in wedding floral designs; this is in addition to the behind the scenes planning and communication working with wedding clients. We hand select at market ourselves the highest quality mix of seasonal and premium flowers for your wedding. We can help you with understanding what is "typically" in season during your wedding month, however since flowers are a natural product and affected by changing, unpredictable weather conditions, we can't guarantee availability. For example, local peonies are a summer crop but low rainfall and high temperatures can impact volume, quality and availability during your wedding week.

This is why working with you to understand your visual theme is important to us as designers! Whether it be via a handful of images, a Pinterest board and/or a mood board we design for you to deeply understand your floral style. We do our best to include your preferred flower types, but if for whatever reason they're not available or too low a quality, we can confidently consult substitute other varieties based off your palette.

We work out of our studio & shop located in based in the lower north shore Sydney suburb of Northbridge. We travel and often do, to design and flower up beautiful weddings all over NSW, including the Southern Highlands, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Camden and the Central Coast.

Interstate and overseas destination weddings are also possible, and include a higher logistics fee to take into consideration additional travel & accommodation requirements.

You are also able to organise your wedding flowers to be picked up from our shop during opening hours, to save on delivery.
