Our team carefully selects the finest seasonal flowers based on local availability. Pictures are for inspiration only, as each design is uniquely handcrafted by our team in our Northbridge shop.
We strive to substitute varieties to match colours and textures, but please understand that with changing weather patterns and global warming, certain varieties may not always be in season at the same time annually.
Rest assured, we will do our best to accommodate any special floral requests whenever possible.
To ensure your fresh flowers last as long as possible, we recommend to:
- Remove any wrapping prior to placing flowers in a vase
- Leave any binding ties on, to keep the design in place
- Re-cut approx 1cm off stem ends at a 45° angle, daily. This encourages water absorption
- Change the water in the vase daily
- Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, strong wind and fruit (as they release ethylene gas, which can accelerate flower wilting). They do best in a cool, shaded area
- Remove any wilting or dead flowers over time
Note: due to the perishable nature of flowers, the lifespan can vary significantly between different flowers.

- Phalaenopsis or Oncidium Orchids: keep indoors, these orchids enjoy bright, indirect light and water only when the potting medium is completely dried out (every 10-14 days). For example, west facing window sill is a great position.
- Cymbidium Orchids: keep outdoors with partial light, water sparingly in winter and frequently in summer. Fertilise once a year.
- Green Indoor Plants: keep indoors, indirect light is always healthy and helps the plant grow and flower more easily; water depending on how much sunlight it receives. The key tip is to stick your finger deep into the soil from the top, and do not water until it's bone dry. If moist, leave it until it dries out. Many house plants die because they are being overwatered, rather than due to under-watering
- We strongly recommend placing your terrarium indoors, in an location receives indirect natural light. Avoid direct sunlight as it will burn the plants.
- If your terrarium has a glass lid, ensure it is left ON covered, so that the humidity is stable and moisture does not escape.
- As a rough guide, only water your terrarium every 6-12 months. A trick is to see if you can see condensation or moisture within the container. If it is present, then do not water until it seems dry. Condensation is to be expected in an enclosed tropical terrarium ecosystem - this is a healthy sign.
- How to water: use a spray bottle, and lightly spray until plants and soil are moistened. Never pour water in directly.
- You can trim your plants back when they outgrow the space. Simply trim back the oldest foliage first. You can also remove any leaf litter to keep it looking clean.
