Romantic luxury at its finest - a pastel wonderland of a Sydney wedding with both ceremony and reception at Pier One Sydney.
This was a dream of a wedding - we went all out for Cathy and Stephen’s pastel wonderland at the perfectly positioned Pier One Sydney wedding venue, located at the very heart of the Sydney Harbour waterfront with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The wedding flowers for Sydney couple Cathy & Stephen included a vision of soft, refined & delicate luxury. Always adding a contemporary artistic twist for our couples, we focussed on a palette of neutral creams, soft apricot and dusty pink pastel tones. Wedding photographer Jenny Sun captured the day beautifully, working alongside videographer Paper Cranes.
A statement floral arch was the feature backdrop of their wedding ceremony, filled with soft delicate flowers such as roses, hydrangeas and dahlias, weeping magnolia foliage and pittosporum. Cathy’s dream was to float down the aisle covered with rose petals, so we made that vision a reality! Celebrant Robyn Pattison helped the couple tie the knot.
For their wedding reception at Pier One’s Water Room, the top of the bridal table featured a mixture of minimalist ikebana inspired arrangements, candlesticks and cascading florals. Custom signage designed alongside Nikki Design Co. We also repurposed the flowers from the extravagant ceremony arch, to become additional flowers surrounding the floor area in front of the bridal table and sides. As for the guest tables, to add variance in height across the room and help with spend, we designed a mix of low florals with tall arrangements. Extra florals were installed onto the poles around the dance floor area.
