Sydney Small Wedding Florist – FAQs

Do you offer standard wedding flower packages in Sydney?

Rather than strict, pre-set packages, we offer a flexible “build your own” approach for small weddings, focussed on the wedding bridal party. You can choose exactly which items you need – for example, a bridal bouquet, a couple of bridesmaid bouquets, and some buttonholes – and we’ll bundle them into your own tailored package. This way, you’re not stuck with anything you don’t want. (Of course, if you’re not sure what to pick, we’re happy to guide you or put together a custom package quote!)
Can I order just one bridal bouquet by itself?

Absolutely – yes! 🎉 We cater to requests both big and small. If you only need a bridal bouquet (or even just a bouquet and a buttonhole for an elopement), we can do that. You’re welcome to order a single item or any combination of flowers from our online collection. No minimum spend on our small wedding flowers – just get exactly what you need.
How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

We find that most couples planning an intimate or small wedding reach out about 2–3 months before their date. However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings too (availability permitting). It’s always best to enquire as early as possible to secure your date, especially during popular months.
Do you work with silk or dried flowers for small weddings?

Our specialty is fresh flowers (nothing beats the beauty of real, seasonal blooms!). That said, we do sometimes incorporate dried or preserved elements for texture or if you have a specific request – for example, adding some preserved foliage, or creating a keepsake buttonhole. If you’re interested in silk or faux flowers for any reason, let us know and we can discuss options or refer you to someone else, but typically our focus is on fresh, sustainably sourced florals.
When do you design the bouquets and arrangements, and how do you source the flowers?

We usually finalise all the design details with you a couple weeks out, and then source the blooms in the week of your wedding. We hand-select the freshest seasonal flowers (often at the flower market just a day or two before the wedding). All the arranging and bouquet-making is done as close to the wedding day as possible to ensure everything is at peak freshness.

Where in Sydney are you based, and do you travel for weddings outside Sydney?

Lime Tree Bower is based in the Lower North Shore of Sydney (our studio & shop is in Northbridge). We serve all across Sydney metro area, and yes – we travel for weddings!

We’ve done events from the Northern Beaches to the Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains, and South Coast. If you’re planning a destination elopement or a wedding outside of Sydney, let us know – we can often accommodate or recommend trusted partners if needed.
