Our annual Sydney edition of Flourish is back on across 12 + 13 November 2022! Flourish is our fully immersive wedding floristry career intensive course across a weekend - with an emphasis on modern floral designs and foam-free techniques.

Ideal for someone starting out on their own floral design journey and those wanting to up-skill new techniques for existing florists.

At Lime Tree Bower, we’re known for our signature ‘flourish’ in all of our designs. This is inspired by our appreciation for the natural flourishes within Mother Nature, which is what we are working with as a creative medium. By taking notice of that whimsical branch twist, that unexpected bloom… we crave celebrating the imperfection that exists in nature and using that as the cornerstone in our designs.

What you’ll learn

Day 1

• Design principles: basic techniques and how to select / design with flowers, the LTB way

• Bridal bouquets: how to create our whimsical unstructured bridal bouquets with that signature flourish

• Table arrangements: how to create foam-free low table arrangements with that natural plucked-from-the-garden feel

Day 2

• Larger scale installation designs: fundamental techniques, problem-solving and group workshop on a larger scale floral design installation (foam & foam-free)

• #realbiztalk: a chance for us to discuss and share knowledge, in the past we've covered topics such as: how to start your business, building your portfolio and clients, mindset, practical wedding design logistics, managing client responses, pricing 101

Build new fellow industry connections, come hang out with Founder Helen and the Lime Tree Bower team, grow your design skills and become further inspired and supported on your floral design journey! This fully hands-on and immersive workshop, with limited spots available, takes place once per year.

Your investment includes all flowers, supplies and tools, with afternoon tea and drinks for both days. Simply bring yourself, a water bottle and a notebook/pen if you'd like. You'll be able to take home your design creations at the end of the day. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements upon checkout. We will also confirm this prior to the course via email.

By registering the attendee agrees to the workshop terms:

1. Each seat is reserved for only (1) attendee, please do not bring friends, business partners, or significant others to the workshop, unless you have purchased an additional seat for them.

2. For Work Health & Safety purposes, please ensure you wear fully enclosed, comfortable footwear during the day.

3. All payments are non-refundable and subject to our cancellation policy (below).

Cancellation Policy: if you sign up please be sure you are able to come. The workshop is non-refundable unless you can find someone to take your place. A minimum of 5 students is required for the workshop to take place. If the workshop needs to be cancelled, your payment will be refunded to you within 48 hours following the cancellation notice.
