A romantic and whimsical garden inspired wedding ceremony & reception at Gunner's Barracks Sydney.
We treated our couple Jessica and Jackson to a glorious wedding at Gunners Barracks, that we styled and designed. We were particularly excited to surprise them, as they gave us full creative rein, in particular the ceremony design! We worked with their palette of deep maroons, dusty pinks and lavender across the wedding, from the floral design to signage and table place settings. Feature flowers included tulips, scabiosa, orchids, sweet pea, garden roses, ranunculus and anemones.
Instead of a traditional arch structured, we opted to modernise this classic in order to better work with the existing pole of the venue instead of ignoring it. We designed a statement floral installation that used the pole as the "spine" and had it flourish out like a garden onto the ground. Inside for the reception, we designed a feature display for the bridal table, along with a hand lettered welcome sign and seating chart, and personalised paper styling (menus and hand-drawn calligraphy name cards). Photography by superstar Ann Marie Yuen Photography, signage with Nikki Design Co, menus & table names with A Living Reverie and calligraphy name placecards by Lavender Lane.
"We asked LTB to take care of all our florals and styling elements for our wedding day and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. They were able to turn our very brief description of “some flowers here and there in the colour scheme” into the most unique designs for our ceremony and reception space. Thank you so much to the Lime Tree Bower team for all the work you put into our big day, we really appreciate all the little details you added to make everything perfect!" - Jess
