Best Wedding Photographers in Sydney: A Florist's List
By Lime Tree Bower Florist | Last Updated: October 2026
40 photographers who have captured our flowers at real Sydney weddings, with links to every wedding we've shared. Cover: a Royal Botanic Garden ceremony, photographed by Emma Hampton.
Most couples see our flowers for the first time through someone else's lens. So this list is a thank you, and a shortcut for anyone planning a Sydney wedding.
Every photographer below has photographed our flowers at a real wedding or venue event. Nobody paid to be here. We've grouped them by where we've shared a wedding, not where they're based (most travel all over Sydney, NSW and beyond), and linked each one to the real weddings and venue guides their photos appear in, so you can see how they shoot a real day, not just a highlights reel.

How to choose a wedding photographer: a florist's view
We see photographers at work every weekend. A few things that separate a good fit from a great one:
- Look at full galleries, not just Instagram. Ask for two or three complete weddings. You'll see how they handle the quiet moments, the detail shots and the reception, not only the hero portraits.
- Ask if they know your venue. A photographer who has shot your venue knows where the light falls at 4pm and where the ceremony looks best. Our wedding page links to our venue guides, with photos from many of the photographers above.
- Check how they shoot details. Bouquets, buttonholes, invitations and table flowers are usually shot in the first hour of getting ready. If flowers matter to you, make sure they're on the photographer's shot list and arrive early enough to be in those photos.
- Talk about colour. Some photographers edit warm and golden, others bright and true to colour. Look at how flowers you love come out in their editing before you lock in your palette.
- Plan the ceremony-to-reception move together. If your ceremony flowers are moving to the reception, tell your photographer so they capture the ceremony setup before it's packed down. Our guide to reusing ceremony flowers explains how the move works.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the best wedding photographers in Sydney?
It depends on your style and your venue. The photographers on this page are the ones we've seen work in real wedding conditions, from editorial studios to documentary photographers who stay out of the way. Start with the ones who have shot your venue, then compare full galleries.
Should our florist and photographer talk before the wedding?
It helps. The photographer's timeline tells us when personal flowers need to arrive for getting-ready shots, and when the ceremony setup needs to be finished before guests arrive. We're happy to share our timings with your photographer once your flowers are confirmed.
Which Sydney venues photograph best with flowers?
Venues with good natural light and room for a ceremony feature: harbourside lawns, garden venues and rooms with big windows. Our venue guides show real setups at each one, photographed by the people on this list.
Can you recommend a photographer for our wedding?
Yes. Tell us your venue, date and style when you enquire about your wedding flowers and we'll point you to the photographers we've seen do beautiful work there.
