Dunes sits at Palm Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches, with a white pergola over the dining terrace and a relaxed, coastal feel. It's usually booked for the reception, with the ceremony nearby: in Wiltshire Park, at home, or at another spot on the peninsula. We've designed the flowers for four Dunes weddings since 2024. Here's what we've set up and what works.

At a glance
| Moment | What works |
|---|---|
| Ceremony nearby | Floral pillars or ground arrangements in Wiltshire Park or at home, then moved to Dunes |
| Arrival | Repurposed ceremony arrangements on the ground at the entrance |
| Long tables under the pergola | Bud vases with trailing stems, or fuller arrangements in glass cube vases |
| Inside | A floor arrangement by the bar or sideboard |
Ceremony nearby
Most of our Dunes couples marry somewhere else first. Wiltshire Park in Palm Beach is a favourite; the rain plan is usually a marquee next to Dunes or a nearby surf club, confirmed that morning. One couple married at home in Church Point, with a tall autumn floral pillar, then we packed it down and brought the clusters to Dunes for the reception.

Reception under the pergola
The pergola, white linen and timber chairs set a soft, coastal base, so the table flowers can go two ways. For a light, editorial look, we've run bud vases down long tables with trailing amaranthus and a few autumn stems. For something fuller, we've filled glass cube vases with garden roses, dahlias and stock in blush and lemon. Some couples bring their own candle holders, and we place them with the flowers.

Timing and logistics
- Dunes is about an hour from our studio. We design in the studio, then drive up with everything.
- If the ceremony is nearby, we set it up first, wait, then bring the flowers to Dunes while guests have drinks.
- Many couples skip pack-down and return hired vases to our studio afterwards.
- We can deliver your personal flowers to where you're getting ready on the way.
